सुतवां - well built आहंगर - blacksmith
आहन - iron कुफ्लों - locks

Irresistible Faiz... did I say how much I like his poetry?

  1. Sagar, don't go looking for Tina Sani's version of this one. It's pretty non-inspiring.

  3. See, I had already heard this one... One of the 16 songs I downloaded of Tina's. And I did not like it. I mean, it did not have a Ghazal feel, rather it had a modern touch. Perhaps good experimentation on her part, but I did not enjoy it. I noticed the words only now & yes... Faiz does not fail us, once again! :-)

  4. Hey, why did u delete the "blog-archive" list? I mean now if I have to go to an older song, I need to go back page by page or 'guess' the month when it was posted! I do love 'Dhun', but expecting me to remember the month each song was posted is a little too much :P :-)

  5. Yea, it was a super dull song, no verve in it! But I liked the poem, or maybe I am just Faiz-biased :) He is my favorite urdu poet... or make that just favorite poet.

Fixed your complaint :) See, do I have customer service or what?
